Premier International Tours is proud to announce our official cooperation with the CBF (Brazilian Soccer Federation) and the EBF (Brazilian School of Soccer; the responsible soccer exchange department within the CBF). Teams traveling to Brazil will have the opportunity to play on the fields at the Granja Comary; the Brazilian Soccer Federation’s National Training Center. In addition to the games, Premier International Tours has developed a travel package including training sessions with official coaches of the CBF.

 

July 15         Departure from Boston airport.

 

July 16           Arrival Rio de Janeiro airport. Motor coach transfer to your accommodation in Teresópolis (approx. 1 hour Northeast of Rio), home of the Brazilian Soccer Federation (CBF) National Training Center. After arrival, staff and CBF Coaches welcome and afternoon training session with a CBF coach.

                                    Train and play at Granja Comarythe CBF National Training Center, where players like Ronaldinho, Kaka, Robinho and Pato prepare with the Brazilian National Team for important international tournaments including the World Cup.  We will arrange 3 exhibition games (of which one in Buzios) per team as well as 2 training sessions with a Brazilian Soccer Federation (CBF) coach. Each player will receive an official CBF training certificate. All games and training sessions will take place at the CBF National Training Center in Teresopolis. This facility includes 5 natural grass soccer fields, an indoor futsal court, a fitness center, a swimming pool, multi-media room, training room and game room. We will also include tickets to 1 pro game, and on request, and subject to availability, can request visits to pro team training sessions.

 

                                    Accommodations Teresópolis

                       

                                    Hotel/Full board – daily breakfast, lunch and dinner.

                             Accommodation at the Hotel Bel Air located in Teresopolis, 5 minutes from the CBF National Training Center and approx. 1 hour from the center of Rio de Janeiro. The hotel offers double and triple (limited amount) rooms with private facilities including bathroom, t.v. and air-conditioning. The hotel also offers amenities such as wireless internet, an outdoor swimming pool, restaurant and lounge.

                                   

July 17           Morning game vs. a local team. Afternoon transfer to Rio de Janeiro to visit a pro game. Evening traditional Brazilian Barbecue dinner (all you can eat) in Rio followed by a visit (optional; for groups with all participants older than 18 years only) to the Rio Scenarium, a three floor dance club in the heart of Rio dedicated to salsa dancing, a true Brazilian art form.

July 18           Morning training session with CBF coach. Afternoon spend the day exploring the natural environment of Teresopolis. Teresópolis is the highest town in the State of Rio de Janeiro, nestling in the Serra dos Órgãos at an altitude of 910 meters (about 3,000 feet) and surrounded by a breathtaking landscape of mountains, rivers and waterfalls, all populated by rich fauna and flora.

July 19           Morning game vs. a local team.  Afternoon explore Serra Orgãos National Park. Created in 1939, this national park extends over almost 12,000 hectares of mountainous country. The peak Dedo de Deus (Finger of God), at 1,692 m (5,500 feet), is the best known landmark, but the Park is also a paradise for adventure-sport lovers, and the trails afford spectacular views.

Christ The Redeemer
July 20           Morning transfer to Rio for a Corcovado and Sugarloaf tour. The Corcovado(hunchback) mountain, so named because of its shape, is home to probably the most memorable and identifying image of Rio - The Christ The Redeemer statue. Arms boldly stretched in welcome, he embraces the city and the magnificent Bay over which he looks. The height and unmistakable outline of Sugarloaf makes it one of the main attractions of Rio de Janeiro.The most popular way of reaching the top is to take the cable car - a system that has been in operation since 1912. Late afternoon transfer to your accommodation in Búzios.

                                    Hotel/half board – daily breakfast and dinner.

                             Accommodation at the  Posada Costa do Sol hotel located in Búzios, one of Brazil’s most renowned beach resorts approx. 2 hours north of Rio de Janeiro. The hotel offers double and triple (limited amount) rooms with private facilities including bathroom, t.v. and air-conditioning. The hotel also offers amenities such as an outdoor swimming pool, breakfast room and a reception/lounge with 2 house computers. Dinners will be served in a local restaurant.

                                   

July 21           City tour of Búzios. Surrounded by islands and with more than 20 different beaches  and crystal-clear water, Búzios, once a small fisherman’s village, is now a very charming place where most of the houses are ateliers, pousadas, sophisticated cafés or rustic restaurants where part of the decoration is a statue of Brigitte Bardot, that after a time in Búzios, attracted the attention of several artists and tourists of the world in the 60´s.

July 22           Morning game vs. a local team.  Afternoon sailing boat tour around the beaches and islands of Búzios (included in participant prices). Spend the rest of the afternoon at leisure at Geribá Beach, made famous because it is frequented by many beautiful and famous people. This beach is perfect for enjoying sports like surfing, moreyboogie and windsurfing. Evening (optional) visit to Pachá Night Club, one of the most famous of the many night club’s and bars in Búzios.

 

July 23         Motor coach transfer to Rio de Janeiro Airport. Return flight. Time permitting, on the way stop at Rio Sul shopping mall in Rio for shopping.

The Tour Prices quoted above include:

 

§                     Round trip air fare as well as airport taxes as noted.

§                     Accommodations and meals as specified in the itinerary.

§                     Motor coach transportation for all transfers mentioned in the itinerary.

§                     Local, bilingual representative/assistant will provide you with any assistance when necessary, and help plan or amend your daily schedule as needed.

§                     Costs for arranging the sport program including all games, training sessions with a CBF coach, official CBF certificate, official team photo at the CBF Training Center and tickets to 1 pro match.

§                     Entrance fees to certain attractions specified in the itinerary including Barbecue dinner, Rio Scenarium Samba Club (to be confirmed depending the age of the group), Corcovado and Sugarloaf tours and sailing boat tour in Búzios.

Options:

 

§                     An accident, illness and trip cancellation insurance. Information will be mailed to you after booking.

§                     Single rooms in hotels are an additional US$ 40.00 per night.

 

 

Information about vaccinations and visa:

 

The following vaccinations are recommended: Hepatitis A and Tetanus if you have not received a shot within the last 10 years. Please check with your health insurance company to establish if these vaccinations are covered.  Costs vary but expect to pay $100 for both shots.

A visa to enter Brazil is also required for US residents.  Please contact your local consulate or check online at www.brasilemb.org to process your visa.  A visa currently costs about $140-$160 per person.
